ABOUT
Adelson G. Jantsch
Family physician, researcher, consultant for strengthening health systems.
I am a family physician, researcher, and consultant focused on developing Primary Health Care (PHC). I work at the intersection of medical education, health-system strengthening, and the smart use of data to turn evidence into practice and improve outcomes.
I design and implement solutions for complex problems by combining participatory research and bringing people and teams together to co-create responses tailored to each context. I hold a Master's and a PhD in Public Health & Epidemiology, and I work in Brazil and internationally (Canada, Angola, Mozambique) on health-system strengthening projects.
Beyond family medicine and PHC, my current interests include Global Health, mixed-methods research, implementation science, and leadership engagement to develop and implement health innovations. Through these approaches, I aim for PHC to serve as the coordinating backbone of health systems, delivering comprehensive, continuous, person-centered care aligned with people's needs.
